“If we get a low humidity alert, that’s a potential humidifier sale,” Joe said. “If the temperature drops too low, that’s a service call. If the sump pump is leaking water, that’s a service call, and a potential repair or replacement.”

Contractors who serve the new construction market are all too familiar with the challenges that can arise a year or two after project completion. Callbacks for things like humidifier leaks and clogged drains are not only time-consuming, but they can also be costly – especially if they lead to ceiling or drywall damage.
